Estate Vintage circa 1920s-30s, Possibly 1940s
N.S. MUNCK Danish converted PENDANT
Turquoise Guilloche Enamel
925 20″ Figaro Chain
Beautiful pendant – was once a brooch, the style shows an older T-shape bar.  From the estate box it was in, we believe this was made by N. S. Munck, Danish goldsmith who signed his pieces N.S.
Elongated oval shape with lovely turquoise/sea green guilloche enamel, with dark green “leaf” shapes top and bottom, flanking what appear to be some kind of stone inlay: dark orange brown with white… jasper?  Or could be a special enamel technique that makes the enamel mottled like graniteware.
Classic Scandinavian Gold wash over Sterling
The dangle pendant looks beautiful against black or other solids, Can dress up a look, or looks great with casual tees and jeans…
Hallmarked “N.S. 952 / 925S” with other lettering or logo we cannot decipher: Another eBayer told us it represents 3 Towers, but cannot say for sure, If you know, let us know!!

Some
General Info re: Silver charms and bracelets in our listings
–FYI:
it is not unusual for sterling charms to be unmarked from this era: many charms
came unmarked on display sales cards that had the maker and metal info; as well
as jewelry items under a certain weight did not have to be hallmarked.
–FYI:
Rhodium is in the Platinum family of metals.
It was often used in the
50s-70s to plate sterling silver to avoid tarnishing,
In the
Rhodium plating process, 925 Sterling Silver is given a nickel underplate prior
to Rhodium plating. The nickel is magnetic and causes the magnetic attraction.
–FYI: Sterling 925 or Euro Silver 800, 835, 900 – vintage European silver is
highly collectible.
